On Oct 27th, the First Oriental Congress of Pediatrics was grandly held at Shanghai International Convention Center.  This congress was held by Pediatric Society of Shanghai Medical Association and Pediatric Committee of Shanghai Nursing Association, attracting 75 pediatric experts from all over the world and over 1400 professionals from 28 provinces and autonomous regions of China.  Focusing on hot topics on pediatrics and child health, the congress featured 13 forums for pediatric specialties, 145 special lectures, and a series of workshops, free paper presentations, and poster displays.  The congress proved to be a positive learning and networking experience for pediatric community. 
    Prof. Sun Kun, Director of Pediatrics Society of Shanghai Medical Association acted as the chairman of the 1st OCP congress.
