The first Oriental International Summit Forum on Medical Imaging hosted by the radiology department of Xinhua Hospital was held successfully these days. Sun Kun, president of Xinhua Hospital, acted as the chairman of the forum. Pan Shuming, vice secretory of Xinhua Hospital attended the opening ceremony and gave an address. Wang Dengbin, director of radiology department of Xinhua Hospital acted as executive chairman of the forum.

Several celebrated medical imaging experts from America and tens of well-known imaging professors from China were invited to attend the forum and give academic reports on fundamental research and forefront subjects, sharing new achievements on their research fields of medical imaging respectively. At the same time with the international forum, national "breast imaging diagnosis criteria and progresses" continuing medical education class courses and "micro-radiation and non-radiation imaging technology application progress" were held.
